Q. Can authors mention their names and affiliations in the title-page of the paper?
A. Yes, they can. Paper review is single-blind.

Q. What is the currency used for paying the registration fee?
A. INR - Indian Rupees

Q. What is the procedure to participate in the student design contest?
A. Papers submitted to TENCON 2008 will be considered for the design contest provided      the first author of the paper is a student, under-graduate or graduate. Those who      want their papers to be considered for design contest may identify the status of the      first author in the first page foot-note.

Q. What are the topics covered by the design contest?
A. All topics that are of interest to the conference and mentioned in the website.

Q. Is there a special procedure to submit papers for the Student Design Contest?
A. No. Papers for design contest need to be submitted as regular conference papers      through EDAS and will undergo rigorous peer-review as any other paper.

Q. Who will decide if a paper qualifies for the contest?
A. Reviewers will decide and recommend.

Q. If a paper submitted for design contest is accepted for presentation at the conference, would      demonstration of design(s) be expected?
A. No, but presentation may include pictures, viewgraphs and video clippings.
